It is so nice to answer fan mail. Today, I have received: compliments, corrections, and a blank fan fiction submission. ^_^

I haven't updated much in the past few weeks. I can't believe how rusty I am... Anyway, I made some changes to the RS Section. I hope to finsh adding/updating information tomorrow.

Now, I am going to get back to work on redesigning the site's structure.

I appear to have accidentally erased the setting file of the news updater software on the site. I just reinstalled it. The old news I have manually archived. You can find it in the archive.

Anyway, now for the update I was planning to make when I discovered my mistake. In my quest for a layout to add to the Theme Selector, that will please the people who like (my personal preference are plain layouts like the site currently has) flashy layouts, I have realized that the current design of the webpages on the site limits my ability to design and use a flashy layout on the site. So I am going to redesign the structure of the site's pages. While I do, I will update content that has become dated due to RS. Such as the PokéRUS page which states that PokéRUS is only in Gold, Silver and Crystal when it is in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire as well. If you have problems viewing the site, it maybe due to the fact that I could be working on the html structure while you are browsing the site.

By the way, I re-engineered and updated the right sidebar. Now certain content shouldn't sometimes underlap it. There will be a few exceptions to that statement, particularly when there are tables. I will be working on replacing them with html lists like I did with the one that powered part of the right sidebar.

The full fledged version of pokémon-games.com just went online within the past 48 hours.

I am checking out their pokédex. I think Pokémon Fan Universe's pokédex has more information. ^_^

I just received RS in the mail today. I can't think of a word to describe how amazing, entertaining, etc it is. I had trouble putting it down. It is a must have game.

Well, it is no longer winter. So I switched the default theme from Snow Flakes to PokéBalls.

In other news, I am getting better. I should be over the virus in a few days. Also, I haven't received RS in the mail yet. Maybe I should have payed for overnight shipping.

and not to forgot The 5th pokémon movie that has been released on 16 March!
I wish That i would Live in the us Becaus I haven't Seen The 4th movie and Pokémon Ruby and sapphire will be Released Around September here in holland ...

Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire debuts today in the US! Well, in most places that is. In online stores people have to wait 2 more days. -_-

In other news. Miramax is going to produce and distribute the 5th pokémon movie in the US:

Miramax is known for ruining the potential ticket sales of classics. By making their movies limited releases in only a few hundred theaters and being cheapstakes on advertising. They ruined most people's chances to watch the 4th movie. -_- They are going to ruin most people's chances to watch the 5th movie. This is the number for Pokémon USA Inc.'s corporate offices: 1-646-497-0400. If you are in that area code, please call and complain so they do not give the 6th movie to Miramax and ruin everyone's chance to see it in theaters. Warner Bros released the first 3 movies, you guys do remember how easy it was to go see them. Hopefully Pokémon USA will give the 6th movies and all future movies to Warner Bros since Miramax is ruining the name of a classic. Their policies ruined the ticket sales of an animated movie called Spirited Away. Everyone rated it 5 stars, it was extremely popular in japan (almost as much as pokémon), and Miramax ruined it's ticket sales here and next to no one was able to see it in theaters.

Anyway we now know that the 5th movie is called Pokémon Heros: Latias & Latios. I can't wait for May 16th. Hopefully it will be in a theater within 50 miles of my house. ^_^;;

PokémonCenter.com is allowing you to pre-order the 4th movie DVD/VHS. The first 1,000 customers get an actual frame from Pokémon 4Ever.

In other news. RS comes out in most places tomorrow. However, it comes out on the 19th for me. -_-

Well, my friend can't help me finsh adding RS data to the php pokédex today so I am releasing it early. The data that is not there would take anyone weeks to add by hand but will be added shortly when my friend can help me. Enjoy!

Sorry I didn't make an RS update yesterday. I have been working on the php pokédex. If all goes well, I will have RS data online in the php pokédex sometime today. Or in other words "RS, coming to a Pokédex near you." ^_^

Nintendo is holding a contest where you make your own pokémon theme song. The winner receives a Lugia PT Cruiser. Here is the url to the details:

Thanks to nintendo, I just was able to put the orignal theme song in the downloads section since they are now giving it away for free via the internet on that web page as part of that contest. ^_^

Tomorrow at 8:30AM and 10:00AM, in the US on Kids WB, they will have the hour long sneak preview of the next season of pokémon I mentioned eariler this week. So be sure to see it tomorrow.

Lately, I have been banging my head looking for the offical Pokémon RS Player's guide. Then it hit me. Why not go to Nintendo's online store. So I went there and found the offical player's guide. If you want an offical player's guide here is the url to the online store:

I would give an url that would bring you straight to the player's guide but the fact that nintendo's entire website is made out of javascript makes that impossible. Luckily, it isn't hard to find the player's guide.

I should not be refering to the pokémon company as nintendo. Anyway according to Pokémaster SAN at the board... The pokémon company denied Wizards of the Coast's license to the pokémon TCG and gave the rights to Nintendo. I can't wait to see Nintendo's pokémon cards. ^_^

I almost forgot to say. I can't believe how much confusion wizards's press release caused. Especially for me. Normally this wouldn't happen to me but at the moment I am sick so I wasn't thinking straight. -_-

I guess I was wrong, Wizards is not licensed to create future pokémon trading card game sets. -_-

Oh well, Wizards did ruin some of the fun with the modified format. Wizards printed and shipped over 6.5 billion (this figure is from last year) pokémon cards. They over saturated the pokémon card market! I think Nintendo is trying to repair the damage Wizards did.

Is this the end of pokémon cards? I don't think so. Nintendo plans to create E Cards that give RS players pokémon and items.

Also Nintendo used to be a trading card game company. So they may plan on manufacting their own pokémon cards in the future.

Now for some news. Wizards of the Coast's CEO made a press release to the millions of pokémon fans in the world:

I would like to clarify what he means by "Ruby & Sapphire releases." I believe (correct me if I am wrong) only the US versions of Ruby and Sapphire can connect to the E Card Reader to get various things. Such as pokémon not in RS. Nintendo was a Trading Card company before it converted to making video games. So my guess is Nintendo misses making trading cards so it is manufacting the RS E Cards. After all, someone had to have made those nice E Cards that are coming in US versions of Pokémon RS. ^_^

Not exactly pokémon news but I thought you would find this interesting. In Japan the GBA SP sold last week 83,983 units. That more than the GCN, GBA, PS2, and XBox combined. It would have been even more if Nintendo could meet demand.

Anyway in better news. Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire sold 34,871 games last week in japan. That is a grand total of... 4,080,168 games sold. Pokémon RS has only been on the shelves in japan for 5 months and it has sold more games than most games sell in years. If that isn't what you call popularity, I don't know what it is. If RS has sold that many games in japan, just imagine how much it will sell in the US...

Eariler today I said that I would look into adding some RS screen shots. I put some RS screenshots of a few of the many new features in RS online. I hope you guys enjoy them.

I am thinking of completely redoing the RS section soon after the updates to the php pokédex are made. I probably will and I hope you guys like the upcoming updates. Oh and by the way, In either 5 or 7 more days RS comes out. 5 if you pre-ordered at a local store. 7 if you pre-ordered over the internet. I can't wait for march 19th.

Also if anyone is wondering, I am still sick. It appears that I have a virus (the organic type not the computer type) and have to let it run it's course.

I will see about putting some RS screenshots online later today. Right now I am banging my head over an easier method to put RS move data into the pokédex. Right now I am doing it by hand. -_-;; So far I have 24 pokémons' RS levelup move data inserted. Now only 364 left to go.

I updated the next in japan. In the US on March 15th on Kids WB, they are going to have a hour long sneak preview of the next season of pokémon. It will be on at 8:30AM and 10:00AM. You don't want to miss it.

Well guys, I am pleased to inform you that there are 354 moves in RS. Of them 153 are new. I am planning on putting online a table later today with the names of all 354 moves and statistics on them. So be sure to check back later for them.

I was just informed that Walmart has a playable preview of RS at their stores. Time to run over there... Also the english name of the first town is Little Root. I can't wait for the game to come out.

I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is the release date for pokémon RS seems to have been pushed back to the 19th. The good news is that I think Nintendo did that because there are so many Pre-Orders they needed the extra 48 hours to be able to meet demand. And who says Pokémon is not popular. Infact this site is more popular than ever. Yesterday we had 435 different visitors. That is pretty high for a fan site. However this is not any fan site, it is a pokémon fan site. ^_^

Does anyone have ideas for updates to the site. I am already have a bunch and I am working on them, but things like the pokédex take time to make. So I would like some ideas for less time consuming things that I could do to give you guys more content. If you have any ideas what so ever, please email email to me.

Yesterday I was half a sleep so I didn't say why you might have problems viewing the site. I am currently playing around with css based modifications to the sidebars so they are more customizable via the CSS files.

In other news, you will be able to use the E Card Reader to obtain things you could not get in RS without it. You should also be able to obtain the 184 pokémon you can't in RS via the upcoming stadium game but that is old news.

Well, I am working on a new theme for the site (it's about time). So if the site doesn't display correctly. Just press ctrl+F5 (that is a hard refresh, it is a bit different than hitting the refresh button) and everything should go back to normal.
