I have noticed that an increasing number of people want to see the shiny pokemon sprites. So I have added the RS Shiny pokemon to the Pokedex.

I just noticed. Nintendo's GameBoy player commercial used Ruby as the example. Why didn't they use Zelda or Mario? I know why, because Pokemon Rocks. They showed this with their Pokemon Rocks music contest. Now to celebrate, because Pokemon Rocks.

I am having trouble uploading the Indigo League opening since it always corrupts on download. I will look into fixing this later. For now, I have taken the download down.

Ok, I know you guys are sick of waiting for updates. Quite Frankly, I am sick of making you wait. So I am releasing some things a little early. The first update is one to the Pokedex. Here is a change log:

-Completed RS Egg Move data
-Added Pokemon Ability/Characteristic Data
-Some RS TM/HM data has been added
-Bug Fixes

Next up, we have a new section. It is the Music Lyrics section. More lyrics will be added in the future.

Now for changes to the RS section, we have a new Pokemon Natures page. The Pokemon TM/HM data has been appended to. Now there are locations of the TMs/HMs and descriptions of them.

That is it for now. I will see about uploading some more content later in the day. Now I need to go have breakfast...

I just spoke to a friend regarding the new Pokemon Battle Card E+ cards. He told me that Ruby and Sapphire can use the save file in the cartridge as an extension of the ROM file to an extent. Meaning that Items that are not in RS or a pokemon from the existing 386 could be obtained.

Certain people have been wildly speculating the possibilites of the Pokemon Battle Card E+ cards. I will say this now. Pokemon that aren't in the 386 RS has in its coding can not be added to the game. There are no references to the RAM that would allow this. Also, Kanto and Johto can not be added the game. There are also no references to the RAM to allow this.

Here is some more old news... Yeah, yeah, I know. I should be getting it the day that it is publicized but I have been too busy coding new content for you guys. You will love the new content, I am sure you guys will. Anyway now for the news. On June 27th, Nintendo will come out with its Pokemon Battle Card E+ cards in Japan. They will be in 6 different packs. Each pack will contain 9 different cards. These cards will give you new berries and allow you to battle trainers that aren't in RS. Battling trainers that aren't in RS is not new to the US version of RS. The Pokemon Battle-e Cards that came with the US versions of RS also allowed you to battle trainers that weren't in RS. The cards will cost 300 yen each. That is about $2-3 US. I will be sure to keep you guys updated on this.

I just noticed. The offical Pokemon TCG has been updated. I am checking out the various sections. They are obviously using Fan Sites as a model for their community section. Personally, I think it would be cool if they did. So be sure to take their community survey!

If anyone is wondering, there are updates in the works for Pokemon Fan Universe. The reason it is taking so long is because it is getting harder and harder to code things that increase the size of the site by a significant percentage.

Pokemon.com has a new news article. It is regarding an Eon Ticket give away where they gave away 5,000 Eon Tickets to Pokemon Fans at the Pokemon Center in NYC:

The Eon Ticket allows you to catch the legendary bird which is unobtainable in your version of the game.

I just uploaded a patch to the Pokedex which takes care of a few bugs... Also, I would like to anounce that I am coding a New Pokedex to replace the site's current one. It will use a MySQL backend (don't ask) to store data. I am not going to talk much about it yet since I still have a great deal of programming to do before it is done. Now to get back to work...
