1/28/2003: Sorry I didn't update yesterday. I have a good excuse for yesterday and possibly the rest of today. By the way, unlike other webmasters, Iexplain why I don't update at times. Anyway as I was saying, I didn't update yesterday because I had to do a book report for school. Today I might not update because I have to do 3 reports on various subjects and a ton of homework to do. However, you never know, since I am saying that I won't update I probably will end up updating today in the end anyway. For anyone who wants to know it is right now 3:21PM EST. Well I need to get back to my homework now. See you later!

1/26/2003: I decided to move the tell a friend link from the cluttered right sidebar to the uncluttered left sidebar. I hope this helps when you want to send a page to a friend.

1/26/2003: The tell a friend page seems to be functioning perfectly now so I am going to release it. You can find it on the right sidebar. I plan to make some modifications to the code that makes it tick in the future so don't expect it to be final.

1/26/2003: For the last few hours as of 10:41AM EST, I have been coding a tell a friend php script. There are only two bugs I am still trying to work out. One is a header bug and another is a bug where hotmail labels a tell a friend email, as spam. As soon as these are fixed you guys will be able to tell your friends about any page on the site. I just wanted to let you know what I am working on, now back to coding php. ^_^

1/26/2003: I said a three days ago I would put more screenshots online. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to. Anyway, I put online a page outlining how to catch latios and latias. It contains 10 screenshots. Enjoy!

1/26/2003: Now that I am over what that doctor said, I will start to work on the site again. So anyway, here is some news. I read that the new pokémon game for GCN which I thought would be called Pokémon Online will be Pokémon Stadium 3 and it will use the GCN Dial-up/Broadband adapters to connect to the internet.

1/25/2003: In response to the growing concern about my vision. I would just like to say that I do not wear glasses or contact lens to view the computer's monitor, read books, etc. It's just that a doctor who should have never graduated medical school told me that I was blind.

1/25/2003: Sorry there wasn't an update with new screenshots yesterday. A stupid doctor told me I am blind and that ruined my entire day. Of course since I can work on computers I am not blind thank goodness. ^_^

In other news. A super virus is on the internet and has shut down over 23,000 major websites including us. So Pokémon Fan Universe has been down since early in the morning (I don't know the exact time) until approximately 5:20 EST today.

1/24/2003: I added a RS Deter Value page to the RS section. Enjoy!

1/23/2003: I just updated the pokédex with 3 English Pokémon Names. They are: Taillow, Zigzagoon, and Skitty.

1/23/2003: I am going to see if I can make up the period where I didn't make many updates for you guys. Since I have a bunch of RS screenshots that I haven't managed to put online yet. I am going to try to put about 5 online a day for the next three days. So be sure to check this page every day.

1/23/2003: I have been pretty lazy lately. Well now I have a update I know you will all like. I updated the RS Secret Hideouts page with new screenshots and information. Enjoy!

1/22/2003: I have been having trouble with dreamweaver but I managed to get it to work again. I have some news I have been dying to put online. Pokémon-e Aquapolis was released 3 days ago. Pokémon RS have sold 3.6 million copies in japan and are still in the #1 spot. It doesn't look like that will change until another pokémon game comes out. Since Pokémon RS does so well in japan, just imagine how well it will do in the US.

1/17/2003: Sorry for the lack of updates, my dreamweaver trial expired, again. Since I don't have enough money saved for Macromedia Studio MX which would give me a ton of things I could for the site, I need to reformat. Since I don't have time to reformat, updates, if any, will be brief. That is until I have time to reformat. I should have time on Monday.

In other news I am looking into ways of getting the word about the site out. So I am looking for affilates. If anyone is interested, email me. You need to have at least 150 unique hits daily and content. Also you must not have illegal (there is no legal kind) ROM downloads on your site.

1/11/2003: I just found out why the theme selector refuses to redirect you to the page you were viewing before. It was because of the javascript that powered the part which you selected a theme with. So I disabled the javascript and made the part of the theme selector (which sends you to the setcookie file) text for now.

In other news (I always wanted to say that), I need some ideas for for simple things I could do to improve the site? Since the more complex ones which I am working on will take weeks if not months to complete. If you have a simple idea (that won't take weeks/months), email it to me.

1/10/2003: Today I tested some new php in the style switcher. I hope this didn't affect how you viewed the site.

1/10/2003: I added a small page about the Unown to the Pokémon Gold and Silver and Pokémon Crystal sections.

1/8/2003: I have been brainstorming some new ideas for the site since do to school my weekdays are pretty much filled with things to do. Although when ever I say I am not going to be able to do this or that, I normally end up doing it anyway...

I am sure some of you are curious as to why I posted information about GameBoy Advance SP yesterday. Well for one thing pokémon games are on gameboy and they normally make a special pokémon version of a system after it is released. ^_^

1/7/2003: I have some good news. Nintendo is making a new version of the GBA called Gameboy Advance SP, it runs on Lithium Ion batteries (Lithium is rechargable) and has a frontlit LCD screen. I wish it had a more efficent OLED screen with more efficent Lithium Polymer batteries... It will debut in two colors cobalt (metallic) and platinum. And will cost $99.95 US, $199.99 AU,

The batteries will be built-in and will last 10 hours (18 without the Front Light on) and recharge in 3 hours. I wish they would reconsider and make the batteries interchangable and sell extras so I could have two sets of batteries...

It will run all of the older games and will have a new mutifunction port. The release dates are to the right. Here is a picture of the GBA SP:

GBA SP

Note: They will continue to make the regular Gameboy Advance.

Another Note: I made some updates to this news as I found more information about this on nintendo websites for other countries. Also when I realized I missed one or two things that Nintendo of America anounced.

1/5/2003: I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that I am 24 hours late in finding out the good news. The good news is that sometime in the summer a pokémon game for GCN will come out in japan. I think it will be Pokémon Online althrough there is no anounced name for it at the present time. It will require that you own Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire but will be cost less than a copy of RS. You will also need the GCN Link cable to play it but hey, who doesn't have one? I already have one myself. For them to anounce it about 6 months before the game comes out means that they have been developing it for some time. I thought they were since they have spent so much time developing graphics for pokémon which you can see at the pokémon center distributation machine in NYC and in the two in japan. Well I guess my guess was right. ^_^

1/5/2003: I can't believe I forgot to update the Section of the Month. Well, this month it is going to be the Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire section.

1/5/2003: I just updated the pokédex's index page; it now has German and French Pokémon names in addition to the existing English and Japanese (Translated) names there. If anyone has the German and/or French names for pokémon 152-251 email them to me.

1/4/2003: Want to hear a few of the things I am working on at the present time? A few are: a pokémon snap walkthrough, a small section about the unown, a php pokédex, a new FAQ Database, converting pictures to PNG format, a music section, etc. These projects will take alot of time to do (especially the php pokédex and FAQ Database which will take months to do...). Hopefully a few will be done in the coming weeks. I just wanted to let you guys know what I am working on at the present time. Now to get back to work on them...

1/4/2003: Since people now seem to care about the message board, it is back online. Now I hope there is some activity.

1/3/2003: Over the course of the past few days I have been updating the RS Section; correcting text, improving some images, etc. So you may notice some improvements.

1/3/2003: I updated the Cartoon Network TV Schedule.

1/3/2003: Besides the PNG Conversion I am working on several other projects to add to the site such as the PHP Pokédex, a new FAQ Database, etc. So if you don't see updates expect that am I am working on one of the projects in the Site Roadmap. Unless I thought of a different project to start on.

1/3/2003: Late last night, I was working on an animation of what battles look like in RS. Unfortunately I found out the hard way that PNGs can not be animated. So the battle animation is in gif format. Enjoy.

1/2/2003: I added information about the Mugen/Infinity/<Insert Name here> ticket to the Pokémon RS section.

1/1/2003: I just made some modifications to the Theme Selector so if your browser tells Pokémon Fan Universe the page that you selected a theme from, it will redirect you to that page. If not it will have instructions stating to click your browser's back button and refresh the page. I hope this makes selecting a theme more convenient. ^_^

1/1/2003: I am still working to convert most graphics on the site to the PNG format. About 50% of the graphics that will be/are converted are online in PNG format.

1/1/2003: There has been some confusion about the pokédex. The current version online is just an html version which is sort of like a preview of what I plan for the php pokédex (which is in the works but it will take a really long time to develop) to look like.

1/1/2003: Happy New Year everyone. Now it's 2003; I hope to make this a better year than 2002 for you guys by developing the site faster than I did last year.
