There is an another color of every pokémon. Those pokémon are shiny pokémon. They are a little stronger than relgular pokémon. They are extremely rare and you can spend months and never find one except the red gyrados at the lake of rage. Shiny Pokémon are only in pokémon crystal and pokémon gold and Silver. You can identify a shiny pokémon because when you go into battle with one it will sparkle. Also you could indentify one by checkng it's stats it will have three plus signs next to the stats. Unfortunetly, the chances of finding a shiny pokémon other than red gyarados are 8192 to 1.
