Fake Cards
Welcome to the Fake Cards page. This is where you can find out if your pokémon cards are fake. If you want to go back to the TCG section, click here.
Here are a list of things you can do to see if a card is fake. If one of the following determines it is fake, it is fake.
-Hold the card up to the light if you can see even a little light coming through it. it is fake.
-If the card can bend easily (do not bend it to much) it is fake.
-Compare it to a geniune card. If one thing (other than it having a first edition symbol) is different it is fake. Don't forget to compare colors and shapes.
-If the card appears to be printed on wax papper or have a wax feel they are fake.
-If th card says made in china it is fake.
Things that you should take into consideration:
-If the letters aren't bold or the energy pictures are at the top of the row on Base Set 1 card. Look for different defects. Because those are the orignals. Wizards of the Coast changed the way the card lookéd after a few months.
